New Delhi, (SONNA) – The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in India today received a delegation of ten diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The diplomats were warmly welcomed by senior embassy officials led by First Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Ali Ahmed Mohamed; Second Counsellor Mr. Osman Mohamed Ibrahim; and First Secretary Mr. Mohamed Abdi Ibrahim.
During their stay in India, the Somali diplomats will participate in a specialized training program designed for diplomats from countries with close ties to India. The program, organized by the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service in New Delhi, will run from August 4 to 13, 2025.
The Embassy of Somalia in India expressed its deep appreciation to the Government of India for its continued support in strengthening the capacity and professional development of Somali diplomats.
