Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The State Minister of Health and Social Care of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Maryama Mohamed Hussein paid a visit to a mother who recently gave birth to quadruplets (all girls) in the VIP ward of Banadir Maternity and Children’s Hospital. The minister extended her congratulations and support to the mother during her visit.
This visit was part of an official inspection tour of Banadir Hospital. Dr. Maryama had previously met the mother during her pregnancy and had promised to return after the delivery — a promise fulfilled today.
The State Minister also expressed her gratitude to the management and all medical staff at Banadir Hospital for their tireless efforts in safeguarding the lives of Somali mothers and children. She specifically commended their dedication and professionalism, emphasizing that such commitment is vital to improving healthcare services across the country.
