Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The State Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Omar Ali Abdi had a fruitful meeting with the Commander of the Italian Joint Operations Command, Gen. Giovanni Maria Lannucci, and the Ambassador of Italy to Somalia, Amb. Coppi.
“I had a productive meeting with Gen. Giovanni Maria Lannucci, Commander of the Italian Joint Operations Command and Ambassador Coppi, of Italy to Somalia” Mr. Omar said.
Discussions focused on EUTM support to SNAF, FGS priorities, AUSSOM implementation, and Italy’s continued commitment to Somalia.
