Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, met today in Mogadishu with the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission and Head of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), Ambassador El Hadji Ibrahima Diene.
The discussions focused on AUSSOM’s mandate, ongoing joint security operations, stabilization efforts, and enhancing cooperation between Somalia and the African Union to advance the Somali-led peace and security agenda.
