Lasanod, (SONNA) – The leader of SSC-Khaatumo, Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali, on Monday welcomed a high-level delegation and community representatives from the Sanaag region, led by MP Abdirashid Yusuf Jibril, to the city of Lasanod.
The delegation arrived to participate in consultative meetings and dialogue focused on establishing a unified local administration for the Sool and Sanaag regions. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote decentralized governance and strengthen regional unity among local communities.
The official reception took place at the SSC-Khaatumo Presidential Palace, where senior officials including Federal Minister of Commerce and Industry Mahmoud Adan Geesood and Senator Zeynab Ismail Timbar, who represents Sanaag, were present. Both dignitaries are actively engaged in advancing inclusive state-building efforts in the region.
