Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), officially opened the retreat of the Parliament’s Standing Committee today.
In his opening remarks, the Speaker emphasized the significance of the retreat and urged committee members to prioritize the legislative agenda for the upcoming sixth parliamentary session.
The three-day retreat will focus on reviewing and scheduling key legislative proposals set to be discussed in the next session. The meeting was also attended by the Parliament’s Sergeant-at-Arms and the Secretary-General.
