“The Somali people are known for helping one another in times of hardship and in times of need, and because our people have always thrived in helping one another whether by sharing their food, shelter and other things to do it,” the Speaker said.

The Speaker also called on the Somali people to lend a helping hand to their fellow Somalis in this time of need, as we are known for helping one another in times like this.

“I urge the people who live in areas close to the rivers and the slopes to be vigilant of the heavy rains that are causing damage to the people’s properties”, he added.
