Istanbul, SONNA — The Editor-in-Chief of SONNA News Agency, Mr. Abdirahman Abdullahi Mohamed, participated in the Türkiye-Africa Media Forum held in Istanbul. Organized by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, the forum brought together leading media professionals from Turkey and various African nations to strengthen historic ties and promote media collaboration.
Discussions at the event focused on the crucial role of the media in fostering bilateral relations. Mr. Mohamed expressed his appreciation to the Turkish authorities for hosting the forum, highlighting its importance in deepening relations between Turkey and African countries, including Somalia.
Participants also acknowledged Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s efforts in conflict resolution across Africa, particularly in Somalia and Ethiopia.
