New Delhi, (SONNA) – Somalia’s newly appointed Ambassador to India, Dr. Abdullahi Mohamed Odowa, officially presented a copy of his credentials to Mr. Anshuman Gaur, Director of Protocol at India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
On behalf of the Indian government, Mr. Gaur warmly welcomed Ambassador Odowa, expressing appreciation for the smooth and respectful process of the credential presentation. He extended his best wishes to the ambassador as he begins his tenure in strengthening bilateral relations.
Following the formalities, the two officials held a private meeting where they exchanged insights on the longstanding diplomatic and cultural ties between Somalia and India. Both agreed on the importance of enhancing cooperation and elevating the partnership between the two nations in areas of mutual interest.
