Mogadishu (SONNA) — Members of the two chambers of the Federal Parliament of Somalia held a joint session today at the House of the People headquarters in Mogadishu.
The session was chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of the Upper House, Ali Shacbaan Ibraahim, alongside the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, Cabdullaahi Cumar Abshirow, and the Second Deputy Speaker of the Upper House, Cabdullaahi Xirsi Timacadde.
The agenda of the joint sitting focused on continuing deliberations on Chapter Six of the Provisional Constitution, specifically Articles 80 through 95.
Closing the session, Ali Shacbaan Ibraahim stated that discussions on Chapter Six of the Constitution will continue and will be carried forward during the next joint parliamentary meeting.
