The Commerce Attache of the Federal Government of Somalia to China, H.E Guuled A Warsame participated in the Africa-China Trade and Investment Round-table Conference held in Beijing, China.
The event which brought together Ambassadors, Councillors, representatives, journalists from Africa and Chinese traders and investors who are ready and serious about the cooperation shared at the event to both sides of Africa and China.
The event was opened by the Co-Chairperson, Mr. William Wang and he introduced several Chinese investors who are interested in trading with and investing in African countries and cooperating with the governments in the sectors of energy, agriculture, mining, and more other areas.
The Ambassador of Namibia, H.E Elia George Kayamo who gave a touching speech at the event said “now that our leaders came to China few months ago, it shows that we (as Africans) are now more serious than ever and all stakeholders are in the know because of the Forum for China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).”
Another touching speech was given by the Deputy Ambassador of Morocco, Mr. Radoune Chaouki and he said that Morocco is ready for investment opportunities because now that it is the largest car manufacturer in Africa, the only country with high speed trains and are currently engaged in the production of renewable energy and increase to 80 percent in 2080.
Several other Ambassadors, Councillors and representatives gave speeches including the Ambassador of Lesotho, Cape Verde, Malawi, Liberia, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad and others.
