Mogadishu, SONNA – The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Somalia has approved the establishment of the National Security Office. This decision was made during the Council of Ministers’ weekly meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama.
The proposal for the National Security Office was submitted by the Ministry of Internal Security. During the meeting, the Ministries of Internal Security and Defense presented a comprehensive report on the country’s security situation, with a particular focus on the ongoing efforts to eradicate the Khawarij.
In addition to security matters, the Council of Ministers also reviewed a crucial report from the Ministry of Education. The report highlighted the current state of education at both basic and higher levels, emphasizing the need for improvements to enhance the quality of education for Somali students.
