Somalia commends both nations for their unwavering commitment to dialogue and diplomacy, and appreciates the pivotal role played by the United States in mediating these discussions. We firmly believe that sustained peace and stability in the DRC and Rwanda will positively influence regional security, economic development, and the well-being of millions across the Great Lakes.
Furthermore, Somalia reaffirms its commitment to the principles of international law and the African Union’s foundational frameworks, which underscore sovereignty, peaceful dispute resolution, and mutual respect among nations.
