Mogadishu(SONNA)-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia on Monday reaffirmed its unwavering support for the One China policy, safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia reaffirms its unwavering support for the One China policy”, Ministry of foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia said on X.
Chen Wendi, Acting Ambassador of China to Somalia appreciated Somalia’s resolute opposition to the illegal actions by any part of its territory which are a violation of the one China principle.
“A Roundtable discussion to reiterate and renew the two sides’ strong commitment to safeguarding One-China Principle and mutual support in safeguarding sovereignty and territorial integrity. One-China Principle is underlined as international consensus”, Chinese Embassy to Somalia said on X after holding an event in Mogadishu.
