Kampala, (SONNA) – Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Ahmed Mohamud Fiqi, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Hamza Haadow, received a warm welcome in Kampala, Uganda. Somalia’s Ambassador to Uganda, Fardowsa Kanyare, greeted the delegation upon their arrival.
The Somali delegation is participating in the Special African Union Summit focusing on the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). This high-level summit brings together African leaders to discuss effective strategies for advancing agricultural development, strengthening food security, and fostering sustainable economic growth across the continent.
