Nairobi (SONNA) – The East African Community (EAC) Joint Operations Planning Conference officially opened at the Humanitarian Peace Support Training Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
Somalia’s delegation to the conference is led by Colonel Ahmed Isse Ahmed, Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA) Training and Doctrine Command, who also serves as head of the delegation. The team includes senior officers from the SNA Headquarters and the Ministry of Defence.
The three-day conference aims to plan the first phase of the joint military exercise involving EAC member states, focusing on enhancing regional coordination and operational readiness.
