Mogadishu(SONNA)-The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of Somalia has inaugurated a new children’s play area at Aden Adde International Airport, providing a comfortable and enjoyable space for young travelers while their families wait for flights.
Minister Mohamed Farah Nuh, who officiated the ribbon-cutting, said the facility is free to use and part of efforts to enhance passenger services as the airport works toward meeting international standards. The project was supported and funded by SOS Children’s Villages, highlighting the collaboration between the Somali government and development partners.
The play area is fully equipped to international standards and is expected to improve the airport experience for families and visitors.
