DAR ES SALAAM (SONNA) — The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Hamza Adan Hadow, officially inaugurated the newly constructed residence of the Somali Ambassador in Dar es Salaam. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks a key development in bolstering the diplomatic infrastructure of the Federal Republic of Somalia in the region.
The high-profile event was attended by senior officials from the Government of Tanzania, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Dar es Salaam, and representatives from the Somali community. The gathering served as a platform to celebrate the strengthening ties between the two nations and to showcase the revitalized image of Somali diplomacy abroad.
This new facility stands as a symbol of the nation’s diplomatic progress. It represents the culmination of extensive efforts led by Ambassador H.E. Ilyas Ali Hassan, who has prioritized the renovation and development of the embassy’s assets to ensure they meet international standards and properly represent the Somali state.
In his keynote address, Permanent Secretary Hamza Adan Hadow commended Ambassador Ilyas for his dedication to realizing this project.
