Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Hamza Adan Haadoow, received on Monday in his office at the Ministry, the Head of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Mission to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mr. Mohamud Abdi Ahmed, and discussed with him cooperation, coordination, and preparations for the National Consultative Meeting on the Review of the IGAD Strategy 2021–2025.
The two officials noted that the upcoming review of the IGAD Strategy will serve as an important platform to assess progress, address challenges, and align regional initiatives with Somalia’s national development priorities.
