Nairobi, SONNA – The Somali Ambassador to Kenya, Jabriil Ibrahim Cabdulle, welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kenya, KANG Hyung-shik, at his office in Nairobi. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring areas of mutual interest between Somalia and South Korea.
Ambassador Jabriil highlighted the importance of the discussions, stating, “Today, the Embassy received H.E. KANG Hyung-shik, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, and we discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Somalia and the Republic of Korea.” He further emphasized the unique position both nations hold as non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, which provides a platform for collaboration on global issues.
The meeting centered on accelerating cooperation in areas of shared interest, with both ambassadors reaffirming their commitment to deepening ties. “We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and relations and promoting broader cooperation between Somalia and Korea,” Ambassador Jabriil concluded.
