Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somalia’s Prime Minister, Hamza Abdi Barre, on Wednesday appointed Abdifitah Qasim Mohamud as the new Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, replacing Daud Aweis Jama.
The appointment followed constitutional provisions and consultations with the President, as the government moves to address its expanding priorities.
The Prime Minister urged the new minister to carry out his responsibilities with efficiency and dedication.
The Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism plays a central role in government communication, cultural promotion, and tourism development.
