Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sh. Mohamud has on Thursday received Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed who arrived in the capital Mogadishu.
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, H. E. Daud Aweis Jama said that President Hassan Sh. Mohamud warmly welcomed the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and his delegation at Aden Adde International Airport in the capital.
“This visit underscores the critical importance of enhancing the bilateral relationship and cooperation between Somalia and Ethiopia. Strengthening ties between the two nations is vital for regional stability, economic development, and mutual security, fostering a collaborative environment that benefits both countries and the wider Horn of Africa”, Jama told Somali National News Agency.
