Kampala, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Kampala, where he is participating in the summit of the countries whose forces are participating in the stabilization and peace of Somalia (ATMIS).
The leaders will discuss the process by which the Somalia’s Armed Forces would fully take over the country’s security by the end of this year and the plan of the African forces in Somalia to participate in the operations to liberate the country from Al-Shabaab terrorists.
President Hassan Sheikh will focus on the operations to liberate the country and the war against terrorism, and the organization of technical and military support in the second phase of the operation to eliminate Al-Shabaab in the country and the region as a whole.
