Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Police Force, specifically the Xamarweyne District Police Station, has arrested Cabdirahman Suleyman Jama on charges related to activities deemed harmful to national security.
In a statement issued by the Banadir Regional Police Command, authorities confirmed that the suspect will be brought before the competent court.
“The Somali public is urged to refrain from encouraging or supporting the Khawarij enemy. Anyone found engaging in acts that threaten national security will be held accountable by the justice system,” the statement read.
The arrest comes amid ongoing efforts by Somali authorities to crack down on individuals accused of aiding or abetting terrorist groups.
