Islamabad, SONNA – The First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People, MP Sadia Yasin Samatar, and MP Guled Bihi Abdi, who are on an official visit to Pakistan, today toured the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Islamabad.
The delegation was warmly received by Ambassador Sheikh Nur Mohamed Hassan and embassy officials, who briefed them on the overall situation of the Somali community in Pakistan, particularly Somali students residing in the country.
Deputy Speaker Sadia Samatar thanked the ambassador and embassy staff for their warm welcome and commended their dedicated service to Somali citizens. She encouraged the mission to further strengthen the consular and community services it provides to Somalis in Pakistan.
