Mogadishu, Somalia – The Somali National Army (SNA) today bravely thwarted a desperate attack launched by Khawarij, in areas within the Lower Shabelle region. The confrontation resulted in significant losses for the militants, with numerous bodies reportedly scattered across the battleground.
The clashes occurred on the outskirts of Sabiid and Aanole, where the extremist group attempted to overrun military bases positioned in the vicinity. Somali forces successfully repelled the assault, breaking the militants’ offensive.
