Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army has conducted a security operation in the town of Ruun-Nirgood, located in the Middle Shabelle region.
The operation, carried out early this morning in coordination with local forces, targeted hideouts used by the Al-Shabaab militants. Several of these sites were destroyed, and efforts are currently underway to track down fleeing militants.
