Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army and the International Partners killed 39 Al-Shabaab terrorists in planned operations of ground and air strike in Baqdaad and Baldooska areas in Afgoye district of the Lower Shabelle region.
The operation came after the army found information regarding the Al-Shabaab militants who were grouping to attack the Somali people.
The operations in Baldooska area killed 24 militants and 15 others were killed in Baqdaad area.
The Somali National Army is accelerating the offensive operations against the Al-Shabaab militants in all the areas of the country.
The army chased away the terrorists remnants who were hiding, praising the people for supporting the army and sending messages against terrorism.
The second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin in the Southwest areas as the president of the Federal Republic announced.
