Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Somali National Army carried out a planned operation in the Cumar Beerre and surrounding areas in Lower Shabelle region, dismantling checkpoints and other hideouts previously used by Al-Shabaab militants.
The operation by the courageous soldiers of the National Army aims to end the harassment and intimidation faced by residents in Cumar Beerre and neighboring communities, restoring peace, public confidence, and stability in the area.
