Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Chair of the Somalia-Türkiye Parliamentary Friendship Committee, MP Qaali Cali Shire, has urged Somali youth to actively participate in the HACK4Somalia 2025 innovation competition. Speaking at the official launch of the event, MP Qaali highlighted the importance of the challenge as a valuable platform for young innovators to develop their ideas and present modern solutions to pressing societal challenges.
“This is a significant opportunity for Somali youth to showcase their creativity and contribute meaningfully to national development,” she said, emphasizing that young people are the backbone of society and must lead efforts to address ongoing issues.
MP Qaali also extended her gratitude to the Turkish Embassy in Somalia for organizing the event and for its continued support toward Somalia’s progress — particularly in areas such as reconstruction, education, and innovation-driven programs like HACK4Somalia.
