Mogadishu, (SONNA)-: Somali Lower House Parliament on Monday overwhelmingly passed the Immigration Bill with 145 votes for, one against, and six abstentions.
Mohamed Ali Haga, the Minister of state for Internal Security, thanked the House for enacting this act, which would be crucial in helping Somalia’s government to be rebuilt. According to Minister Haga, “the approval of the Immigration and Nationality Law plays a significant role in the building of the Government.
This bill will regulate immigration and naturalization processes in the country.
