Mogadishu, SONNA – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, today received a copy of the credentials of Mohamed Salah Hassan Keshtah, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Somalia.
The ceremony took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Mogadishu, where Minister Abdisalam warmly welcomed Ambassador Keshtah and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure in furthering the historical and brotherly relations between the two nations.
Minister Abdisalam reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Egypt, particularly in areas of mutual interest, and assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will extend all necessary support to facilitate the Ambassador’s diplomatic mission.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening the traditional ties and collaboration between Somalia and Egypt, built on shared history, cultural affinity, and mutual respect.
