Mogadishu, SONNA — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received on Wednesday in his office the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Somalia and China, advancing cooperation across multiple sectors, and aligning shared priorities.
Both sides discussed preparations for the upcoming Ministerial Meeting on the Follow-up Actions of the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), which is scheduled to take place from June 10 to 12, as well as Somalia’s participation in the 4th China–Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE), to be held in Changsha, Hunan Province.
