Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, extended his congratulations on Saturday to H.E. Mr. David Lammy, the newly appointed Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, and wished him sincere success in the responsibilities entrusted to him.
Minister Ahmed Fiqi expressed his aspiration to work closely together to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between Somalia and the UK, aiming to advance mutual interests across various sectors and emphasizing the importance of deepening understanding and partnership in key areas for mutual benefit and to strengthen the longstanding friendship between the two nations.
