Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, chaired a meeting on Monday of the directors of the Ministry’s departments to foster closer collaboration among departments, enhance coordination, and accelerate ongoing administrative and operational tasks.
Key focus areas included the implementation of the foreign service law and the decision by the Council of Ministers to streamline the number of diplomats assigned to foreign missions, emphasizing the need to formulate a foreign policy that is aligned with national interests and reflects the country’s evolving diplomatic vision while reviewing progress in administrative reforms designed to improve service delivery and promote efficiency across the Ministry.
The Minister has outlined a 90-day roadmap aimed at driving significant transformation including actionable steps to enhance execution and improve internal processes.
