Mogadishu(SONNA)-H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moalim Fiqi had a meeting with H.E. Wang Yu, the Chinese Ambassador, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters.
The Ambassador congratulated the Minister for his efforts in safeguarding Somalia’s sovereignty and affirmed China’s support for the country’s unity and independence.
He also highlighted that today marks the 10th anniversary of the Chinese Embassy’s opening and congratulated the Minister and the Somali people on Somali Flag Day.
The Minister, in turn, discussed the success of the FOCAC Summit, which has strengthened relations between the two countries. Both sides agreed to further enhance bilateral ties and cooperation.
