Nairobi, (SONNA) – The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Kenya, Mr. Jibril Ibrahim Abdulle, received a high-level delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) at the Somali Embassy in Nairobi. The delegation, led by Chargé d’Affaires Tshibangu Tshishiku David and First Counselor Moussa Lombe Didier, engaged in discussions aimed at fostering closer relations between the two nations.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties and advancing shared interests. Key topics included the implementation of resolutions from a recent joint investment forum organized by the Somali and DRC embassies in Kenya. Both sides explored areas to enhance economic cooperation and deepen collaboration in various sectors.
Further, the discussions reflected on a recent phone conversation between the Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs and his DRC counterpart, which emphasized the importance of mutual collaboration. The outcomes of this call served as a foundation for advancing strategic partnerships.
