Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Isaak Mohamud Mursal, received on Sunday in Mogadishu, the newly appointed Deputy Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (DSRCC) for Somalia and Deputy Head of the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), Amb. Mouktar Ousman Karie, and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister, Hon. Isaak Mursal, welcomed Amb. Karie and highlighted the essential role of strengthened collaboration and coordination between Somalia and AUSSOM in supporting the country’s stabilization and peacebuilding objectives.
