Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Isaak Mohamud Mursal, received Amb. El Hadji Ibrahima Boly Diene on Monday upon his arrival at the Aden Abdulle International Airport in Mogadishu to assume his role as the new Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia and Head of the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
Upon arrival in Mogadishu, Ambassador El Hadji Ibrahima Boly Diene participated in several engagements, including consultations with senior AUSSOM officials and a tour of key mission sites to better understand and support ongoing operations.
