Berlin, Germany – The Somali Ambassador to Germany, Abdiaziz Mohamud Farabadane, recently hosted the State Minister of Defence, Honorable Omar Ali ABdi, and his accompanying delegation at the Somali Embassy in Berlin.
The welcoming meeting saw the attendance of the Deputy Ambassador, Mr. Dahir Salad Hassan, alongside the Political Affairs Advisor to the Minister of Defence, Mr. Suldan Farah Ahmed, who was part of the delegation.
Ambassador Farabadane provided the State Minister with an overview of the various services the embassy offers to the Somali community residing in Germany. In turn, the State Minister commended the embassy staff for their dedicated and effective work.
The visit of the defence delegation to Berlin was primarily for their participation in a United Nations peacekeeping conference held in the city from May 13th to 14th.
Both Ambassador Farabadane and Mr. Dahir Salad Hassan expressed their gratitude for the State Minister’s visit to the embassy, highlighting the importance of such engagements in strengthening the relationship between the Ministry of Defence and the diplomatic mission in Germany.
