Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia, in its regular meeting, approved a resolution aimed at managing the misuse of social media.
The meeting, chaired by the Second Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Abdissalan Abdi Ali (Dhaay), also endorsed agreements on cybersecurity and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the media regulatory bodies of Somalia and Malaysia.
Additionally, the Cabinet was briefed on the latest security developments, including recent operations carried out by the Somali Armed Forces in various regions of the country.
