New Delhi (SONNA) – The newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia to India, Dr. Abdullahi Mohamed Odowaa, has arrived in New Delhi, marking the beginning of his diplomatic mission.
Dr. Abdullahi Mohamed Odowaa was warmly welcomed at the airport by the Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Ambassador of the Somali Embassy, Mr. Abdifatah Abdullahi Nur, alongside ambassadors from other countries in India, diplomats working at the Embassy, and members of the Somali community residing in India.
Following his arrival, Dr. Odowaa was formally introduced and greeted by the gathered leaders and dignitaries, who extended their hospitality and best wishes. In his address, Ambassador Odowaa expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen the robust relations between Somalia and India.
Somalia and India share deep diplomatic ties, and the arrival of Ambassador Odowaa is expected to significantly enhance political, economic, educational, and trade cooperation between the two nations. His presence is anticipated to further solidify and expand the bilateral relationship, contributing to mutual growth and understanding.
