Cairo, (SONNA) — The Somali Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Ali Abdi Aware, received the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E. Mohamed Ahmed Amiin, at the Somali Embassy in Cairo during the Governor’s official visit to Egypt.
Ambassador Aware warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed the Governor on the embassy’s operations and pressing needs—chief among them the renovation of the embassy’s conference hall.
Governor Amiin received the official cost assessment documents for the renovation project and pledged that reconstruction would begin promptly.
Ambassador Aware expressed his deep appreciation for the Governor’s support, noting that the Embassy would not forget this vital contribution to strengthening Somalia’s diplomatic infrastructure abroad.
