Beijing, (SONNA) – On July 25, 2023, Somali Ambassador Awale Ali Kullane attended the “Diplomats’ Tours of State-owned Enterprises” session organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. The session focused on China Railway Group Limited’s (CREC) development initiatives, innovation, and international cooperation efforts. During a symposium, CREC officials discussed their commitment to high-quality development, innovation, and environmental protection. Ambassador Kullane expressed Somalia’s interest in strengthening bilateral ties and praised CREC’s contributions to China’s railway infrastructure. The diplomats then toured the CREC Exhibition Hall, where they learned about the corporation’s achievements and future plans.
Ambassador Kullane highlighted China’s progress in railway infrastructure and expressed hope for knowledge exchange and capacity building between Somalia and China. The event served as a platform for fostering diplomatic relations and promoting mutual understanding between Somalia and China. Ambassador Kullane expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China for the warm reception and valuable insights gained during the tour.
