Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has announced a call for bids from construction companies to build a State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Las’anod, the capital of Sool region.
According to SoDMA, the new center will serve as a hub for coordinating humanitarian response and storing emergency relief supplies at the state level. The project is part of broader efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness and improve rapid response capacity across Somalia.
Interested firms have been invited to submit their applications before 4:00 PM (EAT) on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
