Mogadishu, SONNA — The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has intensified its efforts to minimize casualties in the ongoing military operations against Kharijite militants by dispatching medical teams, ambulances, and essential medicines to the Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions.
Doctors will be stationed at Adale district hospital, providing medical assistance in Moqokori, Aden Yabaal, Haji Ali, Guulane, Cali Gaduud Mosque, and other key areas where government and local forces are engaged in counterterrorism operations.
Leading the mission, SoDMA’s Director of Health, Dr. Abdullahi Muse Ahmed, departed from Mogadishu with the medical personnel and supplies. This initiative follows the agency’s recent delivery of medicines to Jalalaqsi district in Hiran to support the treatment of wounded soldiers and civilians in need of urgent care.
SoDMA remains committed to supporting security forces and affected communities, ensuring that those on the frontlines receive the necessary medical aid as Somalia continues its fight against terrorism.
