Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Abdirahman Yusuf Al Adala told SONNA that the Somali Army and the local forces conducted an operation in Ceeldheer district of Galgadud region and executed ringleaders of the Al-Shabaab terrorists and others were apprehended.
One of the militants apprehended includes a well-known figure in Ceeldheer district and goes by the name of Abaas Garoobshe.
On the other hand, the forces killed another known figure of the Al-Shabaab militants known as Ilkacase.
The Somali National Army and the brave local militia who took arms to defend their country will not rest until they eliminate the terrors of the militant group in the whole country.
