Mogadishu, Somalia – The Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA) Ground Forces, Brigadier General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, is currently in the El-Dheer district of the Galgaduud region to boost the morale of troops. The visit comes after the soldiers successfully liberated the area from Khawaarij militants.
General Omar’s presence in El-dheer is a key part of the military’s ongoing strategy to not only defeat militants but also to support and encourage the forces on the ground.
