Mogadishu, SONNA – Six Somali citizens returned to Mogadishu on Wednesday after enduring years of imprisonment and hardship in Libya.
This repatriation is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to retrieve Somali nationals stranded in Libya, spearheaded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of Migration, Returns & Children’s Rights, and supported by international partners.
This initiative underscores Somalia’s commitment to protecting and reuniting its citizens with their homeland.
