Mogadishu(SONNA)-Security forces on Saturday conducted operation at Hanti-wadaag neighbourhood in Jowhar town, the administrative capital of Hirshabelle State after bomb attack that three regional lawmakers were injured overnight, SONNA reported.
The forces made house to house search to find the perpetrators who were behind the grenade attack, but no one was arrested for the incident so far according to the officials.
Three members of Hirshabelle State Parliament were injured in the grenade attack and they were hospitalised at main general hospital there and their conditions are stable according to SONNA.
Jowhar town is expected to host the election of the seats for the upper house of the Federal Parliament of Somalia soon.
